The papered wall

Oh, papered wall, how I love thee! (overlook the berry juice dripping from the table, the fake butter, hand print on my newly painted white wall, and dirty windows and walls. K?) I also discovered window paint :D (which, yes, is reflecting a rather messy living room. meh. Oh well.) More window painting going on over here. I'll be doing the other walls next. From brown to bright. {happy sigh} pretty papers + modge podge and wallpaper adhesive= my favorite place in the house! Inspiration courtesy of Sara's Art House!! Thank you, girl, I love your space!

  9. just found your blog through MP rocks! love your wall - I did my kitchen in our last house
(http://pinterest.com/pin/15296747/) and it was the thing i was most sad to leave when we moved, especially since the young single guy who bought our house looked like he would paint over it the day he moved in! Only have a couple of photos of it - but you get the idea.
Glad i found your blog - will be back for a good ole read!

  11. First of all, I think your decor is amazing! I absolutely LOVE this idea, however, I'm not quite sure how it works...can you post a tutorial on this? Does it work if the wall is slightly textured? Should I sand the wall down first?

  13. Okay, I'm weird, but I noticed long-sleeves in a reflection - in this heat! All the artsy stuff is great, and we would NOT have noticed the fake butter, berry juice, etc. - if you hadn't pointed them out. You should NOT apologize for living in your home, girl! :-)

  14. Sherrill- baahaa. Look at the date of this post-- back in April. I only linked it because I did my clock in the same style as the wall there. This is an old post; I'll post pics of the clock soon. No one will be wearing long-sleeves anytime soon, that's for sure!! High of 106 this week. ugh
