Jesus Christ bore the sins of all mankind, creating a way for us to have fellowship with God. Although it may seem odd to celebrate a death, for Christians the death of Jesus and his resurrection on Easter Sunday represent the ultimate reason to rejoice: our deliverance from sin and death and our assurance of eternal life.
