The shower! Baby Ha is on the way!

Julie and I hosted Amy's baby shower on Sunday.

Julie was in charge of decorating the tables. They looked amazing. She truly is multi-talented. Ask her to do anything, and she's your girl!
(Wish I'd gotten more photos with all the food.
The petit-fours, wraps, croissants, chocolate dipped strawberries, blush champagne...oh, my...)
The beautiful Artist joined me at the shower.
She was a real trooper, helping us set up for hours,
unloading all of the nests, birds, eggs, tea sets, flowers...
My beautiful preggers little sister

Full house! We couldn't fit anyone else in!
My family
Awwww

See that cutie Vietnamese girlie in the middle? That is our sista'.
She was my parents' foreign exchange student about 10 years ago,
and still comes back, from out of state, for weddings and baby showers.
We call her Tiki. She is soooo sweet and cute!
Right now she's going for her Ph.D in biology.
Soon she'll be Dr. Tiki!
I won't even tell you what we were laughing about in this picture,
because it might really embarrass *someone* Hahahaaaa
Most people adore their kids. I'm no exception. My kids are fantastic.
But how many people are also blessed with the greatest sisters, parents, grandparents?
Truly, I'm so glad I live close to my family, and I'm so very thankful that my husband also adores spending time with my sisters and their husbands.
What a blessing!

(Barefoot and sleeveless... ;-) Heh heh heh)

It looks like it went smashingly. Love the tables, I'm a table-scape addict! That green fabric is just beautiful! Now all you guys need is Baby Ha to make the grand entrance!!! :-) Just around the corner...

Wenders, I didn't see this post until now! I had a suuuuch a lovely time! You guys were so awesome to put this wonderful thing together for me and there were so many people I love there. I'm really glad Izzy joined us. Some of the girls who sat by her told me they were mesmerized watching her draw... they thought her talent was incredible!
I agree that the fabrics were gorgeous. I'm looking foward to finding creative ways to use them in the baby's room.
And thank you so much, Anne-Marie, though it was rather warm in the dining room so I can't take all the credit for the glowing!

Hey! I can't believe it took me so long to comment on here! I should put a blogroll back on my site. The shower was so much fun! And I agree, I am so amazingly blessed to have such a wonderful family.
