My sister's artwork

My sister, Julie, is an artist for Hannah's Candles. She has recently stopped working to take care of her newborn daughter, and she uses her "free time" now to do custom portraits! Of course, being the wonderful sister that she is, she is doing my kids first!! YEA!
This is her first custom child's portrait. Isabelle requested that she be a mermaid. Ethan is next, and he will be a fisherman.
The portraits are a huge amount of work, obviously, and this will be a wonderful second income for her. If you, or anyone you know, is interested, please let me know and I'll get the message to her! :-)

That picture is so pretty! I love the colors and the differences that you used even just a bit that alters the one picture from the original to transform her "mermaid-hood" fins. So pretty!
How are you doing other wise? Missed you in Sunday school Sunday. I know doing the kid check in thing takes up alot of time, you didn't miss much. We didn't have a teacher so we all just set and talked. Pretty sad huh. It was fun though to talk with Sherrill and Mary Jo. Wish you would have been there!
Have a great day, I have those clothes still for you. You'll have to go through them now, and pick out what trevor and Oliver can wear but there is about 3 bags now. LOL
Talk to you soon, keep your chin up!

Could she do one of me where I'm like a size 6 or something? Because that would be totally awesome!

Thanks for putting up my picture, Wendy! As soon as I get a color copy made at Kinko's, it'll be all yours (and Izzy's)!

That's a good question, Julie... will you paint people thinner? Or with bigger muscles? And no acne. Or fly-aways.
Maybe I shoudl read my other post on body image again!
