Duck Duck Goose and around the wheel

We will be starting school again on Monday. Oh, I have some work to finish up asap!! My schedules are still in progress, my paperwork isn't finished, and I'm still looking for the best prices on two books that I need. Besides that behind-the-scenes work, though, we are soooo excited! I have so much to say about the upcoming year and our plans, but it'll have to wait.

Today we...

...feed the waterfowl (after the library, but before the fair.)
Little Lad was a bit nervous, and clung to my dress the entire time!

Then off to the fair! Do you see my four guys?
(Yes, even the Littlest Lad wanted to ride!!)

Tomorrow we'll be golfing at a friend's party.
This is a good Last Summer Break Weekend to ring in the First School Week! YAY!

Thanks for visiting my blog. It looks like you guys had a lot of fun. To answer your question about Bob Jones, I like it somewhat but feel that it doesn't go as much in depth as I would like. I usually don't buy Teacher's Edition but this year I bought the Science one and I like it better. I don't have to come up with activities and supplemental material on my own. It is a great Christian resource and I really like it for that reason. The Heritage Studies is very in depth in my opinion. It spends the first few years on American History before going on to World History which I really enjoy. Hope that helps.

Glad you enjoyed the pictures!

Christy, thanks for the input about BJU and Heritage Series. We do have one Heritage Series book, and I've enjoyed it a lot.

This is the best time of year to peruse blogs and, thanks to Darcy, I have a great list to use!
