Retreating to the wilderness

A fitting place for my family...

I usually hang on to the camera, but this time the kids took over for awhile. Fred and I aren't often in pictures together. We plan to have a custom pen and ink sketch done before long, but we couldn't find a good recent picture of us together!

A little crooked, but not bad!

Shave and a haircut? Apparently Nature Man thinks Daddy is a bit too tall...
A little better. Now he has two eyebrows at least!

I hope your weekend was just as relaxing and wonderful!

YOu all are a beautiful family! Your children are so blessed to have you for a mommy. Fred is doubly blessed to have you as his wife. I am sure you are as blessed to have Fred. You all are a picture of God's blessing!
Did I use the word blessing enough. Have a blessed week!

Does Fred know about this guy you're kissing? I mean, does he read your blog?! :-) Great pics. Seriously, is there a Wendy diet I can go on? You look FANTASTIC, and if I didn't love you, I'd totally hate you (what does that say about me?). P.S. - I love my new bunny apron. Hanging in the new apartment, and super-cute!!!

Thanks, guys. Ann-Marie, did you see Fred's FB comment? Something like, "Who is that sexy, well-dressed person? And who is the woman he's with?" Heh. Yeah.

Then the next comment he made, "There's nothing like sweating your butt off in a deserted swamp with the one you love." He's sooooo romantic!

Sara and Ann-Marie, there's no Wendy-diet secret. Have four kids, homeschool, and Never. Sit. Down. Oh, and be poor. It helps if you can rarely eat out. ;-)

Heh heh. No.
But I was very young. I'm almost 30 now, and my oldest child is 10. :-)
